    What you're actually buying

Premium is one account with several profiles and up to four concurrent streams. It is not a set of separate logins.

The estimated monthly equivalent in Ethiopia is Br 2,874 in ETB. Divided across 4 accounts — with an illustrative host margin — a share is roughly Br 826 per month. Actual prices depend on the host's listing and the provider's current terms.

The rule that decides whether this works

HBO Max is rolling out household rules similar to Netflix. Check current terms before sharing outside your home.

Worth knowing: This is one shared account, not separate member accounts.

    Step by step in Ethiopia

    1. Confirm the tier

Only Premium gives four streams; Basic and Standard allow fewer.

    2. Agree on the split

Agree the monthly share directly with the host.

    3. Get your own profile

Ask the host to create a profile for you. Never share email recovery codes.

    What goes wrong

    • Household checks

Streams from outside the host's home may be asked to verify.
